As many people know, either from talking to me directly or reading the site, I have been hyping Global Agenda since mid-summer. It is officially one month away. I've called off from work for the first week of release, and I'm building a brand new machine to run it on its gorgeous max settings. I've separately taken time off of work/school or built a new machine, but I've never done both for one new release. That's how much faith I have in the game, and that's how much I enjoy it.
The month of January is an "open beta," anyone who preorders the game can test it. The focus will be almost entirely on AvA conquest, it's end-game territory-control, PvP.
(All pre-order info, including prices and perks can be found here: http://www.globalagendagame.com/preorder.html#Purchase)The game will have both a persistent FPS-style matching PvP/PvE universe that you can play forever (once you've bought the game), and you also have the option of paying the usual monthly fee to participate in AvA. It's a very wise decision for a pricing system.
Ganked Again will not be having a formal branch in the game, as I have firmly tossed my hat into the ring with Cybernetic Punks
(http://www.cyberneticpunks.com/), and the CTC alliance.
In addition to being an excellent guild, CP is offering everyone a chance at a free copy of the game. If you're interested in trying the game, but not purchasing it, here's your chance. Massively.com has even picked up the story and you can find out everything you need to know in their article found
here--------
As a side note, I also expect to be making an announcement in the coming weeks about an official Ganked Again (supported?) branch in a standard MMORPG as well.
