Ywain has proved to be pretty kickass (go go Winstrels!), but it's never a bad idea to look ahead.
Global Agenda is my number one focus, but I just want to turn the attention to Star Wars: The Old Republic and The Secret World
SWTOR opened up beta applications a few weeks ago, but it had been receiving a great deal of hype for quite a while. Bioware is billing this as the standard for next generation MMOs, and based on their history they have a chance. I remain skeptical of its nagging appearance as "a single-player MMO" (yay for contradictions!) but I look forward to the chance to test it out. They have some interesting ideas, I just don't know if they are moving in the right direction for PC-MMOers. I wasn't super amped about SW:G, in fact I never even payed a cent to play it, but Bioware is a proven commodity so they might be able to do a lot more with a SW title than Sony.
The Secret World, on the otherhand, is Funcom's next big project. I only have one thing to say: DEAR GOD, PLEASE LET US TEST (PVP) ENDGAME BEFORE YOU RELEASE THE GAME. The early info (no classes, or levels) is very promising, but isn't everything that Funcom has done? I need substance this time around, boys.
