All I can say is that July 2010 is finally over, and I am more than excited. I've had my identity stolen, my car brakes went out (twice!), and a burst pipe cost over $3200 of structural damage alone to my apartment.
With August, I'm hoping we can settle back into gaming. Here's what is on the horizon:
*We're small-manning in DAoC and looking to relaunch a casual 8v8 group to run a couple nights a week. Now that I am back home, we should have that off the ground in the next week. Dave's wife is also about to pop out a baby, so I'm looking forward to brainwashing a next generation DAoC-addict.
*A few of us are still messing around in WoW, myself included. I've thoroughly enjoyed WoTK and I look forward to Cataclysm.
*StarCraft II is here! Ross and I both say there's not enough new features. Maybe I just played the first into the ground. But everyone else seems to enjoy it so they'll be having fun getting rocked by people who have obsessively played it since Alpha.
*WHERE ARE YOU OPEN PVP??? I talked some of the guys into trying Darkfall, and they uninstalled after about an hour. Global Agenda's open world is coming along, and I am excited about that. Maybe I'll also talk some people into trying the AoC expansion. Maybe Dawntide will become a playable beta. I guess we'll see.
